美國洛杉磯當地的動物收容收到被人遺棄的狗狗-New Boy
據thedodo報導，一隻名叫New Boy看起來跟狗狗很像，動物收容所仔細一看後，發現牠不是隻普通的狗狗。

由於這間收容所沒有照顧狼的專業，於是將New Boy送到科羅拉多州的 W.O.L.F. Sanctuary

W.O.L.F. Sanctuary指出，牠先前應該沒被妥善照顧，身體狀況非常非常的差。 New Boy非常瘦弱，有脫水現象，且身上有寄生蟲，罹患了嚴重的疥癬。

大部分被當作寵物飼養的狼或狼狗大概都活不過2歲，因為牠們不是狗，無法用一般的方式照顧。

只要狼狗開始出現野性，往往都會被飼主丟掉，想來New Boy就是這樣情況的受害者。
