根據Boredpanda在8/15的報導，有一位名叫Geert Weggen的攝影師拍攝松鼠已長達好幾年，並且喜歡用有創意的方法拍攝牠們。而他表示體育就是一個很好的素材。
他說拍攝這些照片很有成就感，而很多時候松鼠們都會做出一些意料之外的事情。有時候這個過程也很煩悶，往往等了好幾天都沒有他滿意的結果。
